- Payment information: card details processed securely by Stripe - we do not store card numbers.
- Communications: messages sent through our in-app messaging system.
- Reviews and ratings: content you submit after completed sessions.
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time of visits.
- Device information: device type, operating system, and browser version.
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7).
2.3 Information from Third Parties
- Stripe - payment transaction data and verification.
- Resend - email delivery status.
- Supabase - cloud storage for profile photos.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage your account.
- Facilitate bookings between Travelers and Guides.
- Process payments and refunds.
- Send transactional emails (booking confirmations, receipts, verification, password resets).
- Display your profile to other users (nickname only until a booking is confirmed).
- Reveal contact information to both parties after a booking is confirmed.
- Monitor and enforce our Terms of Use, including our Anti-Bypass Policy.
- Detect and prevent fraud and unauthorized access.
- Improve and personalize the Platform.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Your Information
4.1 With Other Users
Your nickname, profile photo, bio, interests, city/region, and pricing are visible to other users. Your real name and phone number are only shared with the other party after a Booking is confirmed.
4.2 With Service Providers
- Stripe - payment processing
- Resend - transactional email delivery
- Supabase - database hosting and file storage
- Vercel - platform hosting and deployment
- Pusher - real-time messaging
- Anthropic - AI-powered chat assistant (FIT AI)
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority.
4.4 No Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where required by law. Financial transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by law.
